Broken Top Farm aspires to become more than a breeder or mentor.
With Abby’s psychological training, we are working towards creating a Caprine-Assisted Therapy Center—uniting goats, the outdoors, and practical skills to support healing.
We aim to serve at-risk groups, including veterans, LGBTQIA+, people with I/DD, trauma survivors, and individuals overcoming substance use.

Caprine-Assisted Therapy

Utilizing goats to create and enhance emotional awareness, expression, and connection.

Individual Therapy

On-site office to allow private space for therapeutic growth.

Group Therapy

Various forms (art, sobriety, trauma-processing, and skill building).

Nature-Based Therapy

Gardening, land management, and exploration of wilderness/nature-based interventions and experiences.

Vocational Skills

Opportunities for skill building in labor, finances, crafting, animal care, and management.

On-Site Farm Store

Selling products created by clients, run by clients, and proceeds resulting in more opportunities such as retreats, expended programing, and emergency funding for clients.

Mindfulness

Utilizing nature, yoga, meditation, and bringing on other community members for special offerings.

Internships

Allowing clients paid opportunities as well as training future therapits to continue the whole-person approach in a non-clinical setting.

Growth Retreats

Special weekend retreats at the farm with programming centered around the specific population.
